Fissette’s defense of Swiatek was robust and pointed. “There will always be people who will be negative, but I think that anyone who has read all the documents that Iga has provided and shown to the whole world, sees what happened. And should understand that it was just bad luck. It can happen to any player,” Fissette remarked in an interview with Polish publication Onet.

In an interview with The Telegraph, she elaborated on her frustrations, emphasizing the perceived unfairness in the treatment she received from the ITIA. “The woman player – I don’t want to give name, you know about who I’m talking about – she had the three-week suspension, then she played two events, and then she gets again suspension. What is this? I mean, I don’t understand. So I feel it is not fair,” Halep stated, her words laden with disillusionment and confusion.
Kyrgios’s Cynical Take on the Matter
